Aerogel insulation blankets are primarily used in heavy oil exploration for high-temperature steam pipelines, where the medium temperature ranges from 350 to 400°C. These blankets help reduce insulation layer thickness and effectively lower temperature drop and pressure loss during steam transportation. Aerogel insulation blankets can replace traditional materials like silicate felt, fiberglass felt, rock wool, and mineral wool, offering improved performance.
Petroleum Refining
Aerogel insulation blankets are widely used for insulating refining equipment and pipelines, with medium temperatures ranging from 200 to 650°C.
