Aerogel particles are a translucent material made from dried silica particles. The transmittance of the aerogel can be adjusted by modifying the original colloidal particles and pore size. It features high porosity, low density, a high specific surface area, and an ultra-high pore volume. These properties enhance thermal performance and light transmittance, while also reducing glare, sound transmission, and heat transfer.
